That is false. It is water resistant, It should NEVER be intentionally submerged or exposed to liquid. Those statistics are in reference to laboratory testing under controlled conditions.

Liquid damage will NOT be covered by the warranty.

It is water resistant with a rating of IP67 and can be submerged in 1 meter for 30 minutes.
