Hello I have the new iPad and I baught it with cellular but the cellular number couldn’t be the same as mine how can I see both numbers

Ipad 8th generation I recently got an Ipad 8th generation that is cellular and wifi enabled. I got a phone number/sim card from my phone provider. I activated the sim card and put it into the Ipad. It gave me my phone number; however, it will not let me text anyone if they do not have an apple product. Any suggestions?

Hello,

Cellular iPad models exclusively use cellular data only and cannot be used to send/receive cellular calls or messages. Any cellular number associated with a cellular iPad model is strictly used for billing purposes only.
