HELP...I got scammed
I purchased an iPad air on the internet that has an "Activation Lock" attached to a previous owner. The seller has gone MIA. Is there anything I can do to remedy this???

No, sorry but there is nothing you can do. You have to know the AppleID and Password used with iCloud on that device to release activation lock. Without that, there is nothing you can do to activate and use that device yourself.
