Apple TV app on Roku keeps buffering.

Shows on Apple tv keeps buffering on Roku. All other streaming services are fine, internet connection is great (250Mbps WiFi 6 router top of the line)

Every time I try to watch a tv show on appletv+, the show buffers a lot during every chapter and once in a while a "frecuent buffering issue" appears. It definitely is the Apple TV app. No way to ask for support since Roku AppleTV app is not listed.

Hi Sterling,

I checked the resource and went through it. After all that the problem persists. I couldn't help to notice that it really pops when reproducing 4K content. Not so much on HD. That leads me to think it's an issue on how Apple tv app handle available bandwidth (roku displays 60Mbps on the speed test). All other apps handle 4k very well.

Hello Jx3me,

It sounds as though you're seeing issues with playback with the Apple TV+ app on a Roku streaming device. Streaming without playback issues is important, I'd be happy to assist in seeking a solution!

Below is a resource that can help:

If you can't stream or watch movies or TV shows from the Apple TV app, iTunes Store, or third-party apps

I hope this helps,

Cheers!
