iphone8 microphone not working

The volume on my microphone is so low it is really not audible. When I plug in the earbuds, that works, but not the bare microphone. It was working a few days ago, but suddenly it doesn't. Haven't added anything new to the phone.

Microphone I have an iPhone 10. I have volume turned up as high as possible and can barely hear what’s being said. The speaker is fine. Earbuds are fine just can’t hold to my ear and hear. Have done a reset and turned phone on and off several times. No change

iPhone 8 mic issue I have a strange problem on my iPhone 8. The bottom mic is working fine for phone calls and also for recording audio on Messages. But when I use the mic for an app, for example Voice Memos, the sound is suddenly very faint and muffled. I've tried restarting, reset, updates, everything.
