I can’t update my WhatsApp

I can’t update my WhatsApp, whenever I type in my password(correctly) it kept showing incorrect password or Apple ID but I can download a new app without any problem. I have already changed my old ID to the current one yet I still can’t sign in. Please I need help

Apps (all apps) are permanently tied to the Apple ID that was used to download/install them on your device.

If you are using a different Apple ID they won't update, and you need to delete them using the OLD Apple ID, then redownload them using the NEW Apple ID.
