App icon disappeared on Apple Watch

The icon for the Alarm app in my Apple watch has disappeared and there is a blank space instead. When I go into the watch app on my iPhone the icon can be seen on App layout and if I hit the blank space where the icon should be on my watch the alarm app will open. Any ideas how to make the icon show?
