Syncing iTunes with SoundCloud
I'm working on syncing my RSS feed from SoundCloud with iTunes. I haven't heard back from iTunes yet, how will I know when my podcasts are being uploaded to iTunes? How long will it take to connect them?
You're asking a question about producing Podcasts, so this isn't really the place to ask, because Podcast production is a specialist field. The best place to ask that sort of question would be Podcast forums, rather than anywhere on Apple. Do an online search for podcast forums, looking for ones that have production tips.
Most people here (on the Apple forums) would only know about listening to them.
The nearest part of the Apple community that might be able to help is Apple Podcasts - Apple Community, but even there, it's meant for listeners, rather than producers. I don't see any recent contributions from the one person I know who does know about producing podcasts, but I do see a lot of unanswered questions, which suggests a lack of knowledge available there now.
Having said all that, I have read elsewhere that it can take a while before Apple list your Podcast in their store.
Note that your Podcast will be listed in the iTunes Store, it is not "in iTunes", or uploaded to iTunes. If your listener subscribes to your Podcast in iTunes, what actually happens is that your iTunes programme goes directly to your Podcast Host and downloads from there directly to your iTunes. Similarly, in Apple Podcasts on an iPhone, iPod etc, the request is from the app direct to your host. It doesn't even go through the store in either case.*
