My Apple Watch Started Working After I Submitted a Claim

My Apple Watch have me the "Green Snake of Death" all day before I submitted a claim to AppleCare that it wasn't working. Should I still send it back?

My concern is that if it's already done it, could there be something wrong with it that will happen again, potentially after my AppleCare has run out.
