Random boxes flash across screen

I bought the new 2020 MacBook Air last month since I'll be working from home for the foreseeable future. So far, I've loved it. However, randomly throughout the day, these colorful boxes will flash across the screen in a checkerboard pattern really quickly and then go away. Sometimes it happens multiple times within a short period of time, other times it doesn't happen all day.


I've already tried restarting, resetting the SMC and PRAM, updating my computer, performing hardware diagnostics, and even doing a factory reset, all to no avail.


Here's a video I somehow luckily caught of it happening. Any ideas?

Contact Apple for repair. That Mac is defective.
