Did I cloud backup my text messages? How can I retrieve delayed text message someone else deleted on my I phone 6s

If you have in Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Messages: ON,
deleted messages are deleted, gone.
If you do not have that settings, you can try restore from your iCloud backup.
Note: Restore from backup is all or nothing deal, you cannot selective restore.
