AirPods Pro settings not found. On iOS 13.5 iPhone X

So yeah, when I first connected and put the airpods in my ear only the right piece played the tune. When I put only the left piece in my ear the tune does not play. Next like above I can’t find the settings on my iPhone.. lastly, when removing the airpods music is suppose to stop playing but this only happens when the right piece is removed
