My sms disappear from messages
i need to restart
after restarting all sms reappear

it happens with both iMessages and sms
i have not switched on filter
suddenly few messages remain, rest disappear
the last received message is visible all the time
i restart phone and all messages are restored
Are you referring to iMessages or SMS/MMS?
Do you have any third party SMS filter installed?
Have you enabled Unknown Sender filter? Settings > Messages > Filter Unknown Senders
