use a 2006 imac as a second monitor

i have two Mac: an iMac 21.5 inch 2011 and an iMac 4.1 2006. I want to use the older iMac as a second monitor, connecting with the 2011 iMac. How can I do it? Is it possibile?

Sorry, no it is not possible the 2006 never supported Target Display Mode and no there are not any work arounds. If you want an external display for the 2011 you need to buy one.
