Hi there, I’m trying to find an app for my iPad which will let me run a programme to attempt to recover video files from a dash cam. I was involved in an incident a few days ago and the footage of the incident has gone, I know it had recorded as I viewed it when I got to my destination but when I arrived home it had gone.
Any help would be helpful.

You’ll need to use a PC or Mac - with an appropriate data recovery utility - to recover any corrupt, damaged or erroneously deleted media files.
Unfortunately, as much as I’d like to convince you otherwise, the iPad and third-party Apps are just not up to the job of data recovery from media.

Thanks, it was a long shot and destined to never work. My wife’s laptop I could download a programme but the reader didn’t work, my notebook would read the SD card but couldn’t download the programme and I’ve just but a £30 Apple connector only to now not get a programme to try it! Lol.
