Question

Name Change

After changing my name due to marriage, I updated this in my iCloud account too.

However when I send emails from my iCloud these still send from my maiden name. How can I change this?

Hi,

I have already done this back in September, and to some extent it has worked.

However when I send an email from my iCloud email address using the Mail app, when the receiver receives the mail it shows as ‘First name Maiden name’ NOT ‘First name Married name’. My iCloud account is definitely my married name now too.

You’ll have to do this from https://applied.apple.com.

How do I change my Apple ID Name or personal information?

You can change your Apple ID Name at My Apple ID. Click on Manage your Apple ID and sign in with your Apple ID name and password. Click Edit and enter the new information, then click Save Changes. Changes take effect immediately. You can also use My Apple ID to change your personal information, such as your mailing address or email address.
