hello, i have a problem 

I lost my iPhone and I want to restore photos but I can’t understand how, since uploading to the icloud storage, backups were turned on, but for some reason the pictures are not displayed at all 

what is the reason? 

how to recover photos if you have access to icloud

If you had iCloud Photos turned on, you can use a computer and login to icloud.com and go to the Photos app there. You can also turn on iCloud Photos on a replacement device and they will automatically sync to it. See: Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support


If you didn't have iCloud Photos turned on but do have an iCloud backup, you can restore the entire phone (not just the photos) from iCloud or use the backup to setup a new iPhone but you cannot otherwise view the contents of the backup. Restore or set up your device from an iCloud backup - Apple Support
