My daughters ipad 6 is having issues.. it is locked and I cant get it unlocked. I have forgotten the password. I have tried restoring to factory settings. I have tried resetting the password but that results in a message telling me to go to my icloud email to reset. Unfortunately to get into the icloud email I need the password. it has become a vicious circle. Any advice out there to get this resolved? any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The iPad is locked with Activation Lock. There is no way around unlocking Activation Lock without inserting the device’s associated Apple ID. If this is not an option you will have to find the original receipt for the device that clearly shows the serial number. Once you have this document you can have Apple unlock your iPad.
