I have an iphone X that has partly broken from the back, it fell into water and now the screen is black, I can hear the notifications and all but just cant see anything. Ive tried the reebot so what do i do?

(1) Force Restart the phone:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).  

(2) It is clear that there has been water damage to your iPhone. If Force ReStarting does not work then you should have your device examined at the Apple Store or an Authorized Service Center. If the stores are not open then contact product and tech support:  ➔ Contacting Apple for support and service including international calling numbers.
