Alias iCloud accounts? Possible?

New to iCloud. Are alias iCloud email accounts possible within presumably Apple ID iCloud account? Then how are they accessed?

iPhone XS, iOS 13

In your iCloud account you can create up to the 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which have different text before the @ from your main @icloud.com address. They deliver into your inbox alongside messages to your main address. You can set them to be the 'from' address when sending an email.

These addresses cannot be turned into Apple IDs, separate iCloud accounts nor moved to another iCloud account, even if you delete them (and once deleted they cannot be reinstated).
