I was checking my Apple ID and saw a number which i don’t recognised linked to my iMessage and FaceTime. How do i delete/unregister this number? I followed the steps as per stated on apple’s help but it requires me to use the number for the text to be sent to - as it is not my number, I cannot delete the number.

It keeps going to a page asking me to input the phone number and a text will be sent to that number to de-register the number. You can’t do that when you don’t have the number - the number is it yours.
on both the FaceTime and message from settings, the unrecognized number doesn’t seem to appear. However the number appears under the Numbers and email at my appleID.
How do i unregister an unrecognised phone number on your Apple ID?
