Solved! - Apple TV Screensaver Deletion?

I’m posting this as a question / response because the thread on the topic was closed previously without a solution. People were asking how do you delete your Apple TV screen savers when you have too many.

I found a solution.

First go to settings under general and select screen saver. Then turn download new video to ‘never.’

This removed all the old screen savers and gave me a new brand new one.

it may take a day or two, I’m not sure on the timeline.

Moving forward when you want a new screen saver switch download back to daily.

And then switch back to ‘never’ when you’re happy with the one you have.

Then you’re good to go :)
