How do I connect a Jabra headset to my iPhone?

I recently ordered a Jabra Evolve2 40 wired headset for improved audio quality for Zoom calls and podcasts. The headset comes with a USB-C male connector, which means it will work easily with my MacBook Pro. I'd also like to use the headset with my iPhone XR, but Jabra can't recommend a female USB-C to male Lightning adapter that will allow incoming and outgoing audio. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've found theses cheap adapters on eBay, but I'm a little skeptical they'll work for the audio.
