we are allowed six users on the Apple TV+ subscription, I’d like to give a family member access, but am reluctant to give my keys to the kingdom Apple ID and password. She gets streaming TV through a Roku, or something. So, no iPad or Mac or Apple TV app.
is there a better way to let her use my subscription that’s not my ID and password?
The sharing can be done and should be done, with each user on their own account, but grouped in a Family Sharing group.
You shouldn’t share your account credentials.
Ok, thanks! Recently I was confused about getting my iTunes library on my wife’s iPhone (and play lists). It worked for a while, but then not at some point. I was directed by a helpful person here, to enter my credentials on her phone, I forget exactly where in Settings I did that. I thought iTunes Match (which I have) and family sharing worked together.
so, I add her to family sharing group (already set up), and she can access Apple TV+ .
