how to transfer a full length movie to a flash drive

I have many movies in my Apple TV app that I have purchased. I am trying to make room on my computer. I bought a flash drive that has 128 GB. I am having trouble transferring the movies to my flash drive. What do I need to do, or is there anything I can do to move these films? Thank you for the help.

If you have downloaded copies, then you may copy these files to the external drive, preferably in the same iTunes Media folder structure, or however it is named in TV app: Preferences﹥Files.

For streaming the content, nothing has to be copied, as the library entry doesn’t need a local file per se.

Quit the TV app. Copy the Media folder.

Hold down the Option key (⌥), and launch the TV app. Choose a new library, select the copied folder.

Verify and set the new Media folder in TV app: Preferences﹥Files, so that new files will be added there too.

(If any titles are somehow still unlinked, the TV app will ask to re-link when accessed.)
