AirDrop doesnt work MacBook Pro (13-inch, Early 2011) Version 10.10.5 and iPhone 6 Software version 12.4.7 on Mac there is not option to select everyone.. contacts or receiving off. Before I had difficulties to pair iPhone and Mac Book via Bluetooth but now that seems to be ok... but still issue with AirDrop persist. Firewall is off on Macbook Pro... on iPhone selected AIrDrope-everyone..

Make sure that your devices meet these requirements:


  • ...
  • Each Mac was introduced in 2012 or later (excluding the 2012 Mac Pro) and is using OS X Yosemite or later. To find out, choose Apple menu  > About This Mac. 
  • Each iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is using iOS 7 or later, 


That Mac does not meet those requirements.
