To fix a problem, Apple Support told me I would have to deauthorize and authorize my devices, which I did. Now all my playlists are not only gone from Apple Music on my Mac, there is no Playlist choice in Sidebar > Library. Once I chose File > New > Playlist, I could see where they should be, but they're all gone. I spent hours and hours creating those custom playlists! Is there any way to get them back?

Apple Music / iTunes support has a habit of using it's version of the unplug it plug it back in method of PC support. The advice provided is one of those responses. The other they like is to turn off iCloud Music ... wait ... then turn it back on again. Both have the tendency to mess up things you have... at least for a little while.
