APN (Access Point Name) is the name of the Access Point.
You can always change the password of your personal hotspot if you think someone you don't want is connected to it.

After more online research I discovered the APN listed on my iPhone was assigned by my service carrier. This means there is no issue. Thankyou for responding to my question.
