Could you help me reactivate my Envy 7640 printer from a MAC. It used to work. I can print from my I phone and I pad.

Before Performing a Clean Installation:

Sometimes when changes are made to the system(i.e. updates), system configurations (i.e. for Drivers) become manipulated, technically. So, reset the SMC and NVRAM.

If that does not work...

For a Clean Install If Envy Printer:

  1. Go To: System Preferences
  2. Remove: Printer
  3. Restart: the Mac
  4. Download: the Drivers Here: HP ENVY 7640 e-All-in-One Printer Software and Driver Downloads | HP
  5. Install: the Printer Drivers
  6. Restart: the Mac
  7. Try: a Test Print

Important: Get the drivers from none other than the manufacturer (HP). Elsewise, it could end up being spyware or malware your install.
