Using Zoom these days, I find the video quality from my internal camera always has a red cast. I have tried in natural sunlight and different lights in different locations in the room. Before a zoom meeting, I try to adjust in FaceTime, but there is always a red or purple cast.

Then the issue is hardware, not software. If the machine is under warranty, see if you can duplicate the issue with PhotoBooth.

So it is happening in both Facetime and Zoom? You might have a lens distortion towards the red end of the spectrum.
One side is farther away than the other is what would cause that. Think of the red shift astronomers talk about.
