I charged my apple watch series 5 overnight

Hello all,

My issue is that I charged my apple watch series 5 last night and charged it overnight. I just read from some tech websites that apple watched cannot be overcharged and whether you charge it overnight or not there’s no difference. So I guess my question is, is it really true that apple watches can’t be overcharged and the battery can be ruined? Please help
