There’s a line in safari at bottom

How do I make it go away. It was never there before its text turning on and off.

You might be talking about the Status Bar. It's a thin strip at the bottom of the browser window that tells you helpful information like downloading files progress, and the extended URL address for embedded links you hover over with your mouse cursor.


If you don't want it it's easy to get rid of. Just to to the View tab in Safari and a few lines down is Hide Status Bar. You'll never see it again.
