siri notes - choosing account

Trying to make better use of Siri with Notes. How do I get Siri to put a new note in my iCloud account (or Exchange) rather than 'on my iDevice' account. Its not much use if a note is only accessible on one device.

Siri now confusing ‘Reminders’ with ‘Notes’ ?? Siri would recently understand “put [something] on my grocery list”, correctly, and she would add that item to my “Grocery List” in Reminders. Siri notes Every morning at the bottom of my iPhone 12 home screen Siri is suggesting a note that I have created. Every morning it’s the same note I can’t figure out how to eliminate this.

Notes app - Notes on my Mac are different to my iphone how to get both on both devices? I seem to have Notes in the notes app on my Mac but they are different to the notes on my iphone. I need to have them on both devices, I'm not sure if I have two accounts or not, can anyone tell me how to check and get them over both devices please?

Answered my own question if anyone's interested.....disable "On My iPad/iPhone/Mac" account on each device and it forces Siri created notes onto the default account - in my case either iCloud or Exchange. Of course Apple Pencil doesn't work with Notes created on an Exchange account (or rather a non-iCloud account).
