I am buying a graduation gift for my son. Given the situation with COVID-19 I have to buy online. I am buying a protective case for the new iPod touch however does it also require a screen protector like the iPhones. I have not found any screen protectors for iPod touch. Any ideas?
Lots of screen protectors out there. The iPod 5,6, and 7 have the same form factor. So if you can't find one for the 7th generation iPod, get one for the 6th or 5th. Ebay has lots of them. I'm sure Amazon does too.

They don't require a screen protector per se. It depends on how much you want to protect the iPod. It will certainly protect the screen from damage but it's not a must.
