jpg to BMP format

Open the jpg in Preview. Choose File : export…, and press the option key to see the Microsoft BMP selection on the image type selector.

If you have a lot of images you want to change to BMP create a conversion app with Automator like this:

Then just drag and drop image files onto the app and they will be converted to BMP.
