iPad "Messages" app loses the message I am composing if I need to use a different app for reference. How do I get Messages to keep a draft of the message being composed?
Alternatively, how do I change the default messaging app?
I’m not sure what you are doing differently than me, but I can go to multiple outside apps for reference and still have the text being saved in the messages app on my iPad.
There are other messaging apps, but you can’t change any default apps in iOS. You cannot delete the messages app either.

Yeah... After posting this, I went and tried it a few more times, and it worked.
Now I’m an even more confused Windows/Android veteran trying to learn about Fruit...
