I was hoping someone could help me figure out why my facetime camera isn't working. It will work if I want to take a picture just when I go to make a facetime phone call I can see who I am calling they cant see me.

There more to the link than making calls, did you bother to click on it and read it?
If you can make and receive facetime calls and can see the other person, but they can't see you, then issue is with their device.
Thank you for asking yes I have already taken a look at the apple support. I have tried to followed the following.
When I received or make facetime calls my picture does not show up. I have uninstalled and reinstalled I have disenabled and reenables and I have given facetime the necessary permissions with the content you have sent me doesn't not fix my issue.
I am able to make a facetime call however, the person I am calling is unable to see me but I can see them
