We got a used ipad from a pawn shop. The previous owner's apple id is still locked in the device and we don't know how to contact the previous owner and we don't even know the complete id (only 2 letters) at the front and back. How do I reset the device to remove the previous owner's apple id?
you will need to contact the previous owner to have them log out of iCloud or go to https://www.icloud.com/find/ My Phone and erase the device, then remove it from their account. If you can’t do that, the device is useless. Apple won't unlock it.
