I bought mine HomePod about a month ago, and had no problems controlling my music. But recently something happened (and I don't know what), and I'm not able to add songs to play next. Siri just says "Sorry, I couldn't add *song* to up next". How to fix this? Tried to reset my HomePod a couple of times - didn't help.

I have managed to solve this problem by switching Siri's language from US to UK English. Try this if you have the same issue :)

Try updating to Software Version 13.4.6 to see if it resolves your problem.

That didn't help either...
Try unplugging for about 30:seconds, plug back in. Make sure the device you used to set it up with isn’t on airplane mode, Bluetooth is on and has also had its software updated. Rebooting the wifi modem might help as well
