AirPods and Apple Watch.

Hey guys!

I can’t get to listen music from my AirPods through Apple Watch.

I bought the Apple Watch 5 yesterday and it’s impossible.

I already disable Bluetooth a few times. I activated airplane mode a few times and nothing. I don’t know what to do.

it looks like the AirPods are connected through Bluetooth on the watch but I can listen to the music.

any advice?

NOTE: One of the articles is slightly out of date, as watchOS 6 does allow 3rd party streaming; Pandora is offering Apple Watch LTE streaming, off-line playlists and Siri integration on the Apple Watch.  Plus Apple Music supports the Apple Watch.

This happens with me but for non Apple earphones. I have Nuraloop and they connect to bluetooth on my watch but won’t allow playback with Spotify. Apple Music does play which is so weird but I don’t use Apple Music.

I have another pair of Taotronic earphones and a pair of Jabra headphones - both bluetooth that simply aren’t picked up by the watch.

All 3 devices are picked up by my iPhone XR and iPad Pro so makes little sense.

Hooe someone comes up with an answer
