How do I stop what ever is working in the background on my iphone?
iPhone 5c, iOS 10
Every single cell phone ever made has processes running in the background. Like, pinging the cell system to determine which cell you're closest to and maintaining a connection. This so you can, you know, make and receive calls.
It was all about that update, thanks everyone.
Have you performed a hard-reset on your iPhone by any chance?
No I'm not sure how to do that.
I know that but that little gear keeps running all the time.
Hold the "Home button" and "Power button" at the same time for 3-5 seconds you should see the phone reboot. Hope that helps :)
