Problems running JAVA with Catalina OS

I recently updated to the newest version of the OS and to my surprise it doesn`t allow me to run software on Java environment. I´ve searched the web for an easy solution to the problem, but nothing official from Apple.

Why does Catalina unable users to run JAVA environments?

You can install a Java Development Kit to run Java apps, but Apple doesn't supply them anymore.

Try the Oracle Open JDK's

Apple dumped Java years ago. Their Java 1.6 version was the last they produced. They kept it around for users to install on their own, but it was 32-bit so won't run in Catalina.
