It will not “destroy” your computer. It’s just adware that redirects your searches.


Re-launch Safari with Shift key down, then delete History and Website Data from Safari preferences.

 

If the adware returns anyway, download and run the FREE version of Malwarebytes. You don’t need the paid version.

And/or...

Download and run EtreCheck. It’s free, safe and only runs when you launch it, so it doesn’t slow down your Mac.
