iPhone X display getting black stripes then going black

My iPhone X display screen is getting horizontal black stripes that start at about 1/2" wide from top to bottom of the screen. They then get a bit wider with a bright green, very fine line on the top of the black stripes that expand to fill the entire display until the entire display is black. I can still use Siri at this point to make calls, but obviously can't dial extensions. While this is happening the phone is also overheating.

I'm also having trouble backing up my phone to my iCloud and it won't charge to 100%. All of this started happening at the same time. My phone has not been dropped or gotten wet. Any ideas on what's going on?

Thanks all!!

iPhone X
