Resetting IPad locked to an old email

I changed my Apple ID e mail but did not log out of an old IPad and I now want to reset iPad. However it won’t allow this until I log into Apple ID account and insert password. However does not recognise email and I don’t appear to be able to sign out to go in with current updated account details.

Advice please
