Is there a way I can take an iTunes gift card out of the App Store & into the music app to pay it?

I put an iTunes gift card into the App Store thinking it didn’t matter & it would pay for my music play. Is there a way I can take it out of the App Store & into the music app to pay it. I don’t have a credit or debit card

App Store & iTunes Gift Cards are interchangeable and both go into the same account. I.e., it doesn’t matter which one you used. Only Apple Store gift cards are different.

Is there any message or error that you see when you try to use it?
