App Store on Apple TV

I can't find the app store among the Apple TV icons. Why? How can i download the Apps?

What is your model Apple TV? Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support

The Apple TV App Store is not available on Apple TV (3rd generation or earlier). You would need an Apple TV (4th generation or later) to install apps.
