Delete a hotmail account from ipad

I have just got a new iPad & my wife has now got my old one.

The latter now has 2 x Hotmail accounts set up on it, mine & my wife's.

If I delete my account on my wife's iPad, will it still remain on my own new iPad

I think the answer is yes, but need to check.

Unsync iPad from Hotmail account I am using an old iPad, version 3 I think, to entertain grandchildren. However, I just discovered that the Hotmail account is showing up on the iPad. If I go to Mail > Account I get an option to Delete Account, but I do not want to delete the account, just prevent the iPad from ever connecting to any e-mail account. How can I achieve this? Thanks in advance for enlightenment. David

Yes.

Settings, passwords and accounts. Delete the second hotmail off the other device and it’s gone, but that will not affect it being on your other ipad
