Apple Watch Pairing Stuck

Hi,

I Recently updated to the new IOS 13.5.1 which unpaired my Watch from the Phone (Iphone X)

When trying to pair the watch it went through an update to WatchOS 5.3.7 (Series 3 Watch)

Now on the phone it states Your Software is upto date but watch is stuck on the screen with the green spirals and watch info around it - when clicking on the watch screen it states continue on iphone and clicking anything on iphone says exit and reset watch (Which I tried and it just does the same thing as stated above and loops the process) or continue update which does nothing but put me back to the screen

Resetting the watch or turning off and on does nothing but bring me back to the watch pair screen which then loops the above process once again.
