scanner does not work after update Catalina 10.15.5

Hello,

After the installation of Catalina 10.15.5, my scanner (Printer Canon PIXMA TS6050 on LAN) does not work. I have this message: Failed to open a connection to the device (-21345).

I reset the printer system, reboot the Mac and reinstall the printer but nothing better; I still have the same message.

For verification, I installed the scanner's driver and it works. I don't understand the "precaution" of Canon, because this driver seems necessary for printing in wifi.

Here is a link to the Canon Support site for your printer, please make sure macOS Catalina is selected as the operating system,

there are two downloads for you, one for the printer and one for the scanner.

Once downloaded double-click to install.


Can you connect the printer directly to your mac just to try and isolate if it is a LAN error or not.

I saw that but, for the scanner's driver, there is a precaution mentioned: "When a printer is used in a network connection, ICA driver cannot be used. The printer behaves in the same manner as AirPrint scan. Solution: Use AirPrint scan."

I cannot link directly my MacBook Pro to the printer (no ethernet socket) but I do not think that it is a LAN error because I can scan in wifi from a notebook with Linux.
